Some Dota 2 players could say that voice chat is a great feature, while others say it's abused too often to be useful. PlayerPOV predicts what would happen if voice chat became a feature in LoL.

DOTA has voice chat and you end up getting is people talking in another language or insulting people's abilities. It is a part of DOTA for those that want to actually use it for team building. I have yet to see any positive uses of the in game voice chat in DOTA. Sigh...
